Daniel & Lucy – Family Photography

I adore doing family photography sessions, I get to spend my time hanging out with super lovely children who have an absolute ball with their parents. What could be more fun to shoot? All my sessions mean something to me, as I know these days we end up snapping everything on our mobile phones just so we can catch the moment, but being able to give people some quality photographs of their children truly is a gift.  This session was one that touched me for a slightly different reason though, Daniel and Lucy’s mother is battling terminal cancer. When she let me know over the phone I didn’t know if I could quite cope with the responsibility of giving these two gorgeous children some lasting memories of just how wonderful both their parents are. It was a hugely important shoot for me, and a total privilege to shoot. It really was one I will never forget, and thankfully Lucy and Daniel’s parents were thrilled with the photos.  Here are a few of my personal favourites, can’t you just feel the love? Enjoy xx
