Kensington Roof Gardens Wedding

Oh what a way to kick off a triple wedding weekender. Carley and Tom’s incredible day at Kensington Roof Gardens was the first of the Easter weekend, and boy did we get lucky with the weather! I was referred to Carley by one of my lovely newborn session mothers whom I’d met at Lottie & Russ’ wedding a couple of year ago. It is always SO lovely to be recommended and even nicer when I turn up and get to see some old faces again!

So, back to this beautiful, colourful London wedding. Carley got ready locally with her girls (all seven of them!) plus her Mum and niece and a few more of the family, I swear I’ve never seen so many people getting ready in one room in my life and the energy was just awesome. Throw in a cheeky and adorable page-boy and you’ve got yourself a bloody great start to the day. We travelled in taxis galore to the Roof Gardens, and I was immediately blown away by the incredible decor and flowers, not to mention the lift full of balloons – so much fun!

Their ceremony was emotional, and also full of giggles and laughter, which is exactly how these two carried on. Carley and Tom laughed and smiled their whole way through their day, the speeches were some of the best I’ve EVER heard, and the environment suited them to a T. The flowers by Cat Allison, at The Colour Green were so stunning, and the table-scapes and name places looked incredible. I don’t normally include details in a blog post, but how could I leave them out, I mean LOOK AT THEM! <3 So much to love.

I had the best time exploring this special, private venue, and it definitely made me fall in love with The Roof Gardens, more weddings there please! But the main reason I was smiling from ear to ear all day was down to two people, Carley and Tom, two absolutely LOVELY, kind and generous souls, who made my job so flipping easy. I really hope I get to see you two again, and you’re enjoying your first year of marriage so far, here’s to many more happy times!! Here are a few of my favourites…. enjoy! xxx
