Micro wedding in Rowledge, Surrey
Here lies my final 2020 wedding…not words I wanted to write only six precious weddings into the year, but thus we have it, 2020 you’ve been a tough one.
Not to go on and on into doom and gloom, I felt I’d like to honour my (expected at least) final wedding by posting gorgeous Beth and Josh’s previews as a blog post. Monday 2nd November 2020, their wedding date, thankfully unchanged, but not quite as was planned. Beth and Josh were always to be married at St James’ Church in Rowledge, as Beth’s father officiated the ceremony, something I know will always feel special to them both!
I was thrilled to be able to capture a couple of hours of Beth & Josh’s wedding, as Beth got ready with her lovely maids fairly locally at The Bel & The Dragon, alongside favourite Carolanne Armstrong who was in charge of beautifying the girls. Josh had emailed the night before saying he’d arranged a surprise car for Beth and her Dad, and it’s fair to say, a few happy, surprised tears were shed when she saw it! The ceremony was simply wonderful, it felt fairly ‘normal’ for me, despite of course the huge gaps in guests, but it was fun to be able to capture the ceremony amidst the ipad of smiling faces that I could see on a music stand set up next to me in the choir benches.
Beth wore a stunning Jesus Peiro dress from the one and only Miss Bush, a dress I’d had my eye on for a year when I was desperate for one of my brides to choose it! My luck was in, and my word Beth looked incredible in it. We had time for a few group pictures after the confetti and the gorgeous Autumnal sunshine made itself known at all the right moments. I may have dragged poor Beth & Josh as deep into the woodland path as possible, hopefully without spoiling too much of the dress train! But with that light it had to be done…Beth & Josh, thank you so much for inviting me to bear witness and capture such a special and wonderful day. I was so honoured to be there and I really hope you like these previews! Lots more to follow….xx
If you like what you see above and would like to chat about your day, please do get in touch! I’d love to hear from you!
