Bury Court Barn Wedding – Hannah & Shimpei

Bury Court Barn Weddings, you’re my new fave.

What a stunning venue! I met an excited Hannah and a very laid back Shimpei about a year ago to chat about their Bury Court Barn Wedding and I knew we’d get along really well. I’d been looking forward to this October wedding all year, and what amazing weather we had! It looked grey and was forecast to rain all day, but nope, we were blessed with incredible Winter sunshine all afternoon. Truly matching the personalities of these two lovebirds. Or should I say love ‘cranes’?! Shimpei’s parents painstakingly sat and made one thousand paper cranes as part of the beautiful decor.  I still remember when Hannah told me they weren’t particular creative and there weren’t many special touches…I’m not entirely sure what she meant, I was totally blown away when I entered the wedding breakfast room! So much pretty!!

This wedding was one big tearful yet upbeat and happy occasion. With some of Shimpei’s relatives harking from Japan, and lots of Hannah’s relatives (including best friend) coming all the way from Canada, you can imagine the many hugs and tears that were witnessed! The speeches were some of the best I’d ever heard and we had a great time during their couple’s portrait around the garden. All in all this was one superb day, and I can’t wait for my next Bury Court Barn Wedding! It’s a fab and cosy venue full of character and such pretty gardens. Thank you lovely Hannah and Shimpei, I had a total blast at your wedding, and hope to see you again in the future! I had a hard time cutting down my faves, so grab a cuppa and have a nosey through their perfect day…xxx
