Dartmouth House Wedding Photography, London.
‘They have brought tears to my eyes, thank you for the box, it is something to treasure’ – Kathryn
This wedding had ALL the feels. I mean, truly so. I am known as ‘fairly’ emotional (read as, a right soppy cry baby) and I ended up so attached to these two by the end I didn’t want to leave! Kathryn and Ryan were married back in April at the stunning Dartmouth House in London. What an awesome place to hold a wedding! So much fun was had, Kathryn has the most ridiculously infectious smile and Ryan just adores her so. We had amazing Spring sunshine all day, and their guests enjoyed a few drinks in the courtyard of the house, away from all the hustle and bustle of London. The perfect setting all in all! After their confetti shower, the newlyweds and I walked round the corner to Berkeley Square for some peace and quiet and a few personal photographs. I love the contrasts of London weddings, I am a Countryside girl at heart but I just adore London architecture and how you can wander down any street and discover something beautiful.
The speeches were absolutely hilarious and equally tear-worthy, Ryan made me sob a number of times, and his best man quite honestly should do stand up. His impressions of Ryan were uncanny and I’d only met this lovely couple a few short weeks before their date! I am so very lucky to click so well with my couples, it really does make a difference to how natural and relaxed they were having me there. Kathryn is dance teacher, so you can imagine there were many shapes thrown on the dance-floor! I have such fond memories of this day, so hopefully you’ll enjoy a few chosen favourites below! If you’re looking for a relaxed, fun and friend-for-life wedding photographer, do get in touch! I’ve opened bookings for 2017 now since next year is filling up! I’d love to hear from you :)
