Fetcham Park Wedding Photography
”Oh Sophie you genius!! WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!! Thank you SO much, they look amazing!! So many wonderful moments! Thank you so much for all of your hard work! It was like reliving the day all over again looking through those!”
As weddings go, this one was up there. When I say up there I mean, IT WAS THE BEST WEDDING EVERRRRR. Ok slight exaggeration as I adore all the weddings I shoot, because aside from gorgeous details, lovely dresses, beautiful blooms and lovely weather, what matters is the two people getting married and the love that they share. And Lottie and Russell were no exception, man I absolutely loved these two!!
Fetcham Park is the most gorgeous house tucked away in a lovely residential street, run by the UBER lovely Laura and her amazing team. Lottie and Russell employed my favourite team of suppliers, including the delicious Kalm Kitchen (check out their food it is a joke it’s so good), the incredible duo of Sharon Roberts on hair and Carolanne Armstrong on make up duties, videography by my two faves Skinny Boy Films and Lottie’s dress by Jesús Peiró at Miss Bush Bridal. And let’s not forget the flowers by their friend Cat Allison, who did an amazing job.
You never know in a July wedding whether you’ll get rain or shine (thanks to good old British weather!) but thankfully we had gorgeous light all day and some beautiful evening sun to boot. Lottie and Russell were married at the All Saints Church in Banstead, who were lovely and welcoming and allowed me to subtly photograph their ceremony. Unfortunately a lot of Churches don’t feel photography is as important as us photographers do, so do check with your church if they allow photography when booking, it’s so sad to miss those precious moments. After the confetti shower we all went onto the stunning Fetcham Park for drinks, canapés, fun & games, and were even serenaded by an incredible Barbershop Quartet who were just beautiful to listen to. I could go on and on about this day, so I’ll just finish by saying I had a truly wonderful time and wish Lottie and Russell a very happy life together! This is a long blog post…so grab a cuppa and enjoy! xxx
