“Thank you so much, there are so many amazing pictures! Thank you for all your hard work, the photos are beautiful, you’re amazing!”
Gate Street Barn Wedding
Early May saw my return to Gate Street Barn and the first of three visits in 2017, and what a way to begin! I absolutely love this venue, I am quite a ‘barn’ fan, and this one really does have it all. It’s so beautifully tucked away down a quiet country lane, surrounded by all the beauty you could wish for. The barn itself was dressed up to the nines thanks to the incredibly lovely and talented Gill Pike Florist, who always does such an amazing job. The food was provided by the ever brilliant Kalm Kitchen, and once again, their dessert station caused open-mouthed gasps!
The ceremony was emotional, filled with laughter and smiles, and just the right amount of ‘sniffs’ from close family members. I was so thrilled that JJ and Charlie were blessed with that gorgeous May sunshine that I’ve come to rely on, especially enabling the brilliant confetti line. I mean, who doesn’t want a giant bucket of home-dried leaves from last Autumn lobbed over them at the end?! :)
Bluebells were hunted down especially for JJ as they were keen to have some portraits in amongst them, and I’m so glad we went searching as we took some of my favourite photos ever in that patch! The rest of the reception followed after some incredible speeches, particularly from JJ’s Mum, Barbara and Best Man Callum who was also a massive help throughout the day, making my job even easier with such a lovely bunch of people to work with. I have some of the finest memories from this wedding, not least because it was a bit of a last minute booked job for me, and I couldn’t be happier that I was given the chance to capture such an amazing day. JJ and Charlie, you two are absolutely MADE for each-other, I’ve enjoyed all our chats in the lead up to the day and afterwards, and so pleased you love your wedding album. I hope it brings back what an incredible day it was time and time again. Here are a few of my favourites..I got a bit carried away so grab a cuppa ;) xxx
