Finally blogging this stunning Osterley Park wedding. What a beautiful place! When Lizzie first got in touch about her wedding, I was super excited as it’s been a long ambition of mine to shoot at this stunning wedding venue, and I was not disappointed! This gorgeous celebration was held on a warm and sunny September Saturday, and boy was it a stunner!
Lizzie’s dress was unbelievable amazing, I mean, I am a girl who LOVES big skirts, lace and sparkles, and when I saw it hanging up I was even more blooming excited as I knew Lizzie would look incredible in it…and she did! Two London buses chauffeured Chris and their wedding guests from the Hilton in Syon Park to the ceremony, with Lizzie arriving in a white London taxi with her Dad. The ceremony was filled with emotion, with nearly all of Lizzie’s side of the family crying, as well as myself shedding a fear sneaky tears behind the camera (not a surprise, I’m a blubbering wreck at most weddings!). The sun shone just as their reception started and we had a lovely walk around the grounds for their couple session, saving a few moments for later just as the evening sun set after their dessert. The speeches were ALL hilarious and touching, and it truly was a corker of a day. Everyone had an awesome time on the dance floor, not least the bride and groom themselves, who performed probably the most insanely perfect first dance that I’ve ever witnessed. Massive kudos goes to them for learning it in time for their special day, it makes me feel a bit feeble knowing all I did on mine was shuffle round a bit!
I found it so hard selecting just a few images from their wedding, since I would LOVE to shoot at Osterley Park again, so if you’re planning a wedding there, please get in touch! Huge thanks must go to my fab second shooter, Selina Merie, who did an awesome job helping me out.
