Russets Country House Wedding Photography
Ah I have such lovely memories from this absolute stunner of a wedding! Mike and Jess were married at the unique Russets House in Chiddingfold last July. Today I saw the Spring sunshine emerge from the clouds so I thought it was a nice time to share a wedding that was one big ball of emotion and giggles. I LOVED Jess and Mike. They are super awesome people and when they got in touch I just knew their wedding was going to be a colourful mix of traditional and contemporary. Jess’ flowers for a start..wow…so utterly beautiful and vibrant, that went beautifully with her stunning bridesmaids and their dresses. I arrived at the gorgeous Russets to a very chilled bride getting ready with her Mum and her bridesmaids, and not to mention an adorable little flower girl! We were blessed with some beautiful evening light during dinner so I quickly whipped them out of their meal to make the most of the sun and grab some extra portraits.
They were married downstairs in the beautiful ceremony room, and I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! When Jess walked in, there was definitely an sharp intake of breath from Mike, she looked incredibly stunning! There was loads of entertainment during the reception including a fun caricaturist who did such an awesome job of the happy couple! The trampoline was a right hit with the little ones, and it was even quite hard to prize Mike off it at one point!! Love the fact my couples are such good sports and totally up for a laugh! The speeches were particularly hilarious, with tears of joy making a few appearances along the way :) The evening was rounded off with their good friend on the decks cracking out some serious tunes. I was treated so warmly at this wedding and I shall always remember it for being a fantastic, loving and upbeat wedding where there was a smile on everybody’s face. Thank you Mike and Jess (and your super cute little boy) for being such beautiful people inside and out, I truly had a ball! Here are a few of my faves from their day… xxx
