Re-visiting these images has put such a big smile across my face. Isobel and Richard (aka, the most romantic, beautiful and loving couple) were married on a sunny Saturday in late June, with their entire wedding taking place in Isobel’s parents’ garden. I absolutely adore photographing home-grown weddings, and I’ve been lucky enough to have shot some beauties this year already, but I think this one really takes the biscuit!
Where to start with Isobel’s gorgeous flowers, absolutely knock-out dress and all the super sweet and personal details that made their day so fantastic. I met these two a few months ago and immediately saw how much they adored each other, I am not ashamed to say that I shed a few tears during their ceremony and speeches, and will never forget hearing Richard say ‘Wow’ as soon as he saw Isobel walking down the aisle. Such a pretty wedding filled with fun moments, the love of heavy metal and sports, and even Isobel’s family dog who made a run for it up the aisle as soon as they were due to walk down hand in hand! I loved their idea of having confetti thrown over them as they walked together as husband and wife and I especially appreciated how meaningful this wedding was to both of them being held at the family home. I could waffle on all day about how much I enjoyed being a part of this wedding, but I’ll let the pictures tell you the story! Are you having an English country garden wedding? If so I’d LOVE to hear from you! Click here to get in touch :)
Congrats again to the super lovely Iso and Rich, may you both have long and happy lives together xxx
