‘Thank you, thank you, thank you for our incredible wedding photos! We love every. single. photo. Can’t wait to get them printed and turn our house into a montage for our wedding! It was so nice to have you as part of our day – all our friends and family kept saying how lovely you are :)”
September Millbridge Court Wedding
Here I am once again, adding to my lovely blog, with yet another stunner of a Millbridge Court wedding. I’m booked for another six Millbridge weddings over the next 12 months so far, and each time I pull into that familiar country lane I feel a little rush of excitement and contentment. I am very proud to be a recommended supplier at Millbridge and will always strive to stay on that on that list!
This time I’m honouring the absolutely wonderful Harriet and Dan, who were married at the very beautiful St Mary’s Church in Frensham, just around the corner from Millbridge itself. I LOVE church weddings. Millbridge Court obviously has its own beautiful spaces to be married in, but there is something special about longer ceremonies and of course the hymns! I love a good sing along behind the camera! We were blessed with that ever perfect September light that they so deserved, and the day was simply lovely.
I was lucky enough to work alongside a lot of my favourite supplier friends, including none other than my own wedding florist, Hannah Berry flowers, who did the most stunning job as always. I don’t usually include detail shots in my blog posts, but I couldn’t resist a couple as the venue just looked so pretty. Also who knew that in my 30s I’d become obsessed again with helium balloons! Ever the popular ongoing trend, and Bugglegum Balloons did not disappoint here.
What makes this a special wedding for me, was, as always the people involved. Harriet got ready at Dan’s parents’ home which is about a 30 second drive from my old house. I love the area and it felt like going to a friend’s house when I turned up to capture Harriet and her girls. The kindest bunch of bridesmaids and a thoroughly lovely morning spent with everyone. I think it’s fair to say beautiful Harriet took Dan’s breath away on more than one occasion, and to see the two of them at the top of the aisle was just utterly lovely.
These two are just made for one another. A lovely long, sunshine-filled confetti run started off their reception at Millbridge and the usual fun and frolics ensued. As usual, I’ve included a few speech photos because I LOVE THEM SO! A wonderful collection of poignant, and incredibly funny moments, my favourite being Dan’s long lasting comparison to the Megabus man – something I can now never un-see :)
I could go on hours about how much I love these two, and their wedding, but I will finish before you nod off, just by saying, guys, it was the most wonderful experience being a part of your special day, and I do hope I get to see you and your beautiful son very soon, here’s to you, and thank you for being such bloody brilliant people. Lots of love, me xxx
