YORK HOUSE AND LANDMARK ARTS CENTRE WEDDING
“I love every single photo! Every. Single. One. You were such an important part of our day. My memories of the day are already beginning to fade, so I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to have these stunning photos that capture every moment. It’s just how I remember it, the whole day has been captured perfectly. You are so very talented, it’s clear to see that a lot of skill and creativity has gone into these photos and I genuinely can’t thank you enough. Before the wedding I didn’t think photos would be so important to me, but I know now that we will look back through these photos in all the years to come and relive our day with these absolutely beautiful images.”
Superb Jill and Stu, both super lovely friends of mine, asked me to be their wedding photographer before they’d actually got engaged, and I knew already that I wanted to be a part of their day and that it was going to be just spectacular. Well thankfully I was not in the least bit disappointed! Jill is a ridiculously talented and creative individual and I couldn’t believe how incredible she made the Landmark Arts Centre look. It’s an amazing space as a wedding venue, but with her ideas the dining area was transformed with string lights and gigantic potted trees creating the incredible Al Fresco look. Walking into the vast room, it simply took my breath away. Even if they did have taxidermist mice on their wedding cake ;) (Ha, you know I loved that cake Jill & Stu!)
The awesome pair were married at the equally stunning York House in Twickenham, where we escaped the rain for the formal and couple’s photographs before heading onto the cutest boat for a trip up the Thames. With lots of laughter and cans of ready-made Pimms and G&T, even with the classic British August weather, everyone had a blast! I have to remark on Jill’s INCREDIBLE Vera Wang wedding dress, which gave me severe wedding dress envy when I clapped eyes on it. She looked absolutely stunning in it, and probably my favourite ever shot of a Groom upon the Bride’s entrance was of Stuart when he saw his wife to be in it coming down the aisle. The flowers were drop dead gorgeous and the dance floor action was second to none. This wedding was truly up there with my favourites of 2015, and I still feel so so privileged to be asked to capture friends’ wedding days. I am SUPER chuffed to have just booked another Landmark Arts wedding for next year too! Jill and Stu, thank you so much for being truly awesome people, and for trusting me with such an important occasion. Here are my faves from their day :) xxx
