My Favourites – 2015 Wedding Photography

2015 was an incredible year for me. I did an awful lot last year, and yet it really did fly by. I went to a photography festival in Wales, and hung out with 75 of the most amazing people I’ve ever met. I formed bonds with some photographers who truly changed my life, I partied with these people hard, I loved, I laughed (a LOT), and at times I wept. I feel extremely lucky to meet the couples I get to ‘work’ alongside. They just get me, my crazy obsession with rabbits, the fact I cry more than most of the people attending the wedding, the fact I love them so hard that when we say goodbye I want to squeeze them till we burst, and that I have been blessed with some absolutely amazing and thoughtful gifts from them too. I have photographed at some venues I never thought I would be lucky enough to shoot at, made some firm friends with suppliers who I adore and love recommending to my future couples, and most of all I found true happiness. I know this sounds MAJORLY corny but it really is true. I am a happy, chatty person (most who know me will know I never actually shut up) but for years I’d been searching for what made me tick. Well, last year I found it. Sadly I had some personal heartache too but one thing I’ve realised is that without the people who came into my life in 2015, I would NEVER be sat here, writing this post with my head held high, thinking how lucky and happy I am.

So here’s to you, my gorgeous, glorious and absolutely GOLDEN couples, I have slaved over this post for hours and hours, and in the end I went with the images that make my heart sing, and hopefully will have an impact on the rest of your lives too.

Thank you 2015, you’ve been like no other, 2016, I am SO ready for you…xxx
