‘We absolutely LOVE the photos, they are amazing. Everything looks so colourful :-) I’m looking forward to deciding which ones to get printed in an album or for presents when I get a bit more time (obviously the grandma photo, she’s going to love that one). It was so nice to see all the guests having a good time and to see all the parts of the wedding that we didn’t get to see. It’s so hard to keep track of everyone and everything that’s going on on the day! It was also nice for Shervin to see the ones of us getting ready in the morning, he commented how calm it all looked. Thank you again!’ 

The super lovely Lorna and Shervin were married at probably my favourite venue, Loseley Park, earlier on in May this year. I am lucky enough to photograph at this beautiful venue quite frequently, and it never disappoints. When their special day came around, it was one of those days where it started raining early on, and then sort of didn’t stop…it was fine rain and I kept telling Lorna, it will be alright! (hoping with all my might that it would be) and thankfully, the sun shone at exactly the moment it needed to, and stayed glorious for them all evening. They had two ceremonies, a beautiful civil one (I may have shed the odd tear, ahem) followed by a stunning Iranian sofreh aghd outside in the grounds. This was my second taster of this type of ceremony, and the two cultures blended perfectly. It’s hard not to go and on about the grounds at Loseley, as they are so pretty and so varied, but for me, what is special, are the trees. If anyone knows me they know I love a good tree. But coupled with a smiling, gorgeously happy couple strolling into the golden hour light, well, what can I say? I am a very happy bunny indeed! I had such a lovely day with these two, Lorna and Shervin are two of the kindest, sweetest people you could meet, and the love I felt between them all day was truly special. I often have to pinch myself about doing this job, visiting these lovely places, eating incredible wedding food, capturing these moments but what really counts, is the fact I get to meet such incredible people along the way. Everytime I’m chosen as a couple’s wedding photographer it means a little bit more. Thank you to Lorna and Shervin for choosing Loseley, and for choosing me.
