High Billinghurst Farm Wedding

After many years I finally made a return to High Billinghurst Farm for Molly & Henry’s wedding in early September. It’s funny how you always ‘forget’ how beautiful late Summer light is, despite being on this planet for 38 years (feeling old now!) and shooting weddings for over 10 years. Each season I hope my couples have lovely weather on their wedding day, but deep down you hope they can just enjoy the outside space of their venue too. Well, we can quite happily say Molly & Henry were blessed with the best of both worlds!

I did a styled shoot at High Billinghurst Farm that was featured on Love My Dress a few years ago and fell in love. I was lucky enough to be placed on the recommended supplier list and I’m so excited to be heading back again this Summer. Back to these two though and their stunning day, filled with incredible flowers by favourite of mine, Kate Avery Flowers.

I greeted Henry and his guests and we waited for Molly to arrive with her entourage of maids. SUCH beautiful dresses but Molly truly did steal the show. I recall being asked by Molly at one point if ‘she looked alright’ – I think it would be very remiss of me to say she was probably the most stunning bride I’d ever photographed. I ADORE brides with their hair down, I know it’s a risk with weather but it looked so relaxed and gorgeous all day.

The whole day was celebrated at the barn, food was incredible by the fab Caper & Berry, and the beautiful ceremony was by Humanist Celebrant, Miranda who is just so much fun. It had a vibe of ultimate chill, coupled with class and sophistication, a truly wonderful day to be a part of. Below are some previews from this stunning High Billinghurst Farm wedding.
