Prepare yourself for an overdose of pretty! Back in May I had the pleasure of photographing a simply stunning, home-made, Countryside wedding in Reigate. Michelle and Richard are two of the loveliest people, we met on their freezing cold engagement shoot back in January and I think we were all thrilled to see some sunshine on their special day, despite a rather dreary start! These two made absolutely EVERYTHING for their wedding! I was blown away when I first went into the barn, I still cannot believe the amount of effort that they put into making each and every detail. Their colour scheme of greys and yellows and blue for the boy’s suits was just perfect, and really helped create a pretty vintage-countryside wedding feel to their decor. I particularly loved their gorgeous looking wedding cake, I mean, just look at it! Not to mention the stunning table decorations with vintage china and super sweet (literally!) ‘Michelle and Richard’ smarties as wedding favours. LOVE. Oh and the fact Richard hand-made about 30 wooden crates individually stamped with their initials, which were dotted about the reception. I seriously think they should become wedding planners!
They were married in the beautiful St Mary’s Church in Reigate, before heading to their gorgeous reception venue tucked away on a little farm. We even stopped off en-route to feed their cats which is when we saw the old bus carrying Michelle’s bridesmaids drive past :) There was so much fun and laughter the whole day, and I had an absolute ball photographing it. I was lucky enough to work alongside Gorgeous Films, a fab company well worth looking at for your videography needs! I found it super hard selecting images for this post, so prepare yourselves, this is a long one! Enjoy :) xx
