Thea and John. Lovely, lovely, LOVELY people. I first met these two just a few days before their wedding last July and I knew that it was going to be a good’un. Although saying that ALL my weddings are ridiculously awesome so as per I went along with a ruddy great grin on my boat race excited to meet Thea’s family and her lovely bridesmaids. The sunshine pretty much nailed July last year, it was another gorgeous day and I was so pleased Thea and John could enjoy the grounds of Ufton Court since it’s such a beautiful place. They were married in a quaint little church not far from Thea’s family home, with a female bag-piper playing upon Thea’s arrival who was amazing!

After a shower of confetti (most of which went in John’s mouth) we headed to the barn at Ufton Court where enormous fun ensued. I don’t think I will ever quite look at a space hopper again without thinking of Thea, when her and John decided to race them I was wondering how it would go…massive kudos to her for being the most fun bride EVER! The speeches were emotional as ever, and of course like a great wet blanket I cried throughout most of them. I do warn my couples, this is my thing, tears, but they always seem surprised when I start blubbing before anyone else does.

The night ended on a high with some serious shapes being cut on the dance floor! A personal highlight for me was meeting Olympic 400m hurdler Eilidh Child (being an athlete I was a touch excited upon spotting her!) who was just as lovely as all the other guests. I have such fond memories of this wedding, and found it so hard cutting down the photos to a select few, but without further ado, Thea and John, thank you for being awesome! Here are my favourites xxx
