Wotton House Wedding – Jenny & Conor

“Wow! Thank you so much! The photos are absolutely gorgeous! You’ve captured the day so well. It was so lovely to see photos of our friends and family having a wonderful time. The day went by in such a blur it was so wonderful to be reminded of all the small happy moments and details. And what an amazing job you did of making such a drizzly day into a thing of beauty! I just loved looking at the photos of the ceremony and the speeches. You managed to capture certain unique expressions of Conor’s and my family and friends which I just love. Never has a day gone so quickly before in my entire life! Through speed (and a bit of alcohol!) my memories  are a bit hazy but I just remember the warmth and love I felt from Conor and everyone on the day. The photos are just filled with this same love and warmth, so I am thrilled!

Wotton House Wedding

My last wedding from 2016 (I will get round to sharing some of 2017’s goodness very soon!) was an incredibly special one. I knew when Jenny and Conor booked me for their Wotton House Wedding, that we would have a brilliant day together. I never quite imagined after their sunny engagement shoot, that I would grow so close to a couple who I hope I will always call my friends.  I knew Jenny would be flanked by some fabulous bridesmaids on the day and she truly was. Such a fun and loving bunch of ladies! All of both Jenny and Conor’s family were the kindest, most welcoming people you could wish to meet, and I felt at home the minute I stepped in the door.  Jenny’s dress was by the fabulous Jesus Peiro (I might’ve mentioned once or twice that he’s my fave ;)) and she looked absolutely INCREDIBLE in it.  Hair was by the fabulous Kasia Fortuna, and make up the wonderful and very lovely Kristina Gasperas, whom I have on my recommended list because she is just so fab!  All of the above helped make an already stunning Jenny into the beautiful bride she was on the day.

So, being November, we expected a little rain…sadly the drizzle never quite let up, but being legends, Jenny and Conor braved the outdoors for me (on more than one occasion!) and we spent sometime in the awesome grounds that make up Wotton House.  I have photographed at Wotton a few times and I’m always so grateful to be asked back, the grounds look amazing in rain or shine, and the ceremony room is just a little bit special.  I LOVE indoor confetti, especially when the couple come down the aisle, I’m sure it’s thrown with just that little bit more enthusiasm knowing it’s the first announcement of the couple as Mr and Mrs!!

We had plenty of giggles and smiles all day, the speeches were heartfelt and hilarious, and boy that first dance!  The way Conor looks at Jenny…*sigh* and the sweet mix of comedy and romance was just the icing on the cake for me before the guests joined in for a right old good go on the dance floor.  A truly magical, and happy day.  I feel so honoured to get to know my couples and to work with the best, BEST people.  Jenny and Conor, thank you for being so bloody brilliant, and I wish you all the best for your future together, lots and lots of love xxxxxx
