Loseley Park Wedding – Surrey
“THANK YOU so much for our absolutely stunning photos. We love them so much and are so so grateful we chose you to be a part of our special day…You were amazing on the day. So many of our friends and family commented on how relaxed you made them feel and that you blended in so perfectly with all our friends. Tom’s mum was particularly concerned about having her photo taken (she hates it) and even she commented on how excellent she thought you were – which is no mean feat!
I want to say a special thank you for your help in the morning. Although I wasn’t a major stress head bride, having your presence for a short while was brilliant. I was especially thankful for you giving the bridesmaid’s taxi driver directions when he asked where we were going – melt down moment avoided! And telling me my hair looked okay when I was having a mini panic.
We really could not have wished for a better photographer. You obviously take and create perfect pictures, but beyond that you became more than a photographer, you became a friend and that it a real talent. We really felt like the whole experience you offer was seamless from booking right through to our first dance and the very smallest of details such as the jazzy sellotape used to seal the bubble wrap around our beautiful presentation box. We felt safe in the comfort that you would catch all the special moments on the day (which of course you did). We have been reliving every single moment, and each time we look at a photo we are adding a new layer to our memories with a different detail which catches our eyes.”
Charlotte and Tom. These two. Gosh it’s funny how a year can pass you by in the blink of an eye and yet I can still remember taking every one of these images. Firstly, I want to wish them a belated Happy First Wedding Anniversary! I can’t believe it’s taken me THIS long to share this wedding, but better than late than never eh? ;) Secondly, I can’t quite believe I photographed their day having fractured my right foot just three days before (unknowingly, it took stupid old me a whole week to actually have it x-rayed). Thankfully it was my foot and not my ankle, so dosed up to the eyeballs with painkillers, and enlisting the help of my FAB and wonderful friend Rowan, I somehow managed to shuffle my way round the stunning and sprawling Loseley Park with two of the most patient souls imaginable. Bless Charlotte and Tom, I didn’t want to tell them about my foot before I’d arrived as I didn’t want to worry them, but they were absolute legends and so sweet to me all day, Tom regularly checking I was ok hobbling around after them. But I was ok, more than that. Because I was present at the wedding of possibly two of my favourite people ever. I know, I know, I say that a lot, well a girl can have lots of favourites, but seriously, I LOVE THESE TWO. As every September should, (bar 2016 it appears) the sun was shining down gloriously on the happy duo and their friends. There was SO much to love at this wedding, SO much laughter, and also a good number of tears, some happy, some sad, but either way, it had all the feels and I’m pretty sure I blubbed a tad myself. Yes, I know what you’re thinking, I never cry…pah!
Charlotte looked ABSOLUTELY stunning in her Maggie Sottero dress, she quite literally took Tom’s breath away as I knew she would. She was calm and collected all morning, and her bridesmaids were absolutely wonderful girls who looked after her just as they should. Tom and his two lookalike brothers (!) were just a joy to work with all day and I thoroughly enjoyed the enthusiasm of his rowing buddies on the dance-floor. They were blessed with beautiful light and quite honestly they were truly deserving of it, we’d had an amazing day on our pre-wedding shoot early on in March last year and again were given the gift of sunshine, which I can see just follows these guys around. I could go on and on, but once again I’d rather the photos tell the story, it’s always SO hard choosing images for a wedding you loved every single part of, but here are the ones that I loved the most. Thank you Charlotte and Tom, for being the reason I get up each weekend and shoot my weddings with pride and passion, I simply couldn’t do it without couples like you. Big love xxxx
