“These are really incredible photos, they just capture the day so beautifully. WE LOVE THEM! Thank you so much. I don’t know how you managed to capture every moment – they are so far and beyond what we ever expected, you have such a gift for photography. It was the best decision ever to quit accountancy for this you have given us memories that we will cherish forever.”
Pembroke Lodge Wedding – Surrey
My first 2016 wedding, and what an absolutely incredible start to what has been one of my best and most wonderful seasons ever. I am posting this blog just a week before my last wedding of the year, and it feels rather apt as I’m now beginning to take in just how many glorious, love-filled and special days that I’ve been lucky enough to be part of. I know I get lucky with the couples who book me, I’m truly aware of that fact, but I couldn’t have asked for a more incredibly lovely couple as Louise and Edd to begin with. I met these two in the stunning grounds of Richmond Park close to Pembroke Lodge for their pre-wedding shoot in January and we got snow! Who knew we’d get so lucky with possibly the first warm and sunny date in March for their wedding as the perfect contrast :) Now some of you more repeat readers of my blog will know just how easy I tip over into full-blown flood mode when it comes to happy tears, but my gosh I was not prepared to meet another lady in Louise who cries just as much with happiness. Cue me sobbing for probably ALL of their day, and thinking just how blessed I was to bear witness to these two beautiful souls tie the knot.
They had an emotional ceremony but it was filled with just as much laughter which was a joy to be part of, I absolutely LOVE Pembroke Lodge, it’s an incredible venue for weddings and the grounds are simply beautiful. We ventured off into the rows of daffodils for their couples session, which they absolutely smashed as I knew they would, before heading back to enjoy drinks and even more laughs during three incredibly funny and sweet speeches. I left shortly before the dancing commenced after stealing a sunset shot with them and thought, wow, if this is number one, what do the other twenty-nine have to offer? It sure was the wedding to beat, and I have just loved looking through their photos once again. Louise and Edd, I hope you’re both enjoying your first year of marriage and have fun plans for your first anniversary in a few months time. Hopefully we’ll catch up again in the future!! Enough of my waffling now, here are some of my faves from their day, prepare yourself for all kinds of happy… :)
