Ranger’s House and Trinity Buoy Wharf Wedding
Oh where to start with this absolute cracker of a wedding. Amee and Dan came to me from a recommendation thanks to the lovely Kathryn and Ryan who’s wedding I photographed a few months previously, another lovely London wedding at Dartmouth House. I don’t shoot many London weddings so it’s always a treat to capture some urban style weddings! Amee’s smile is so utterly infectious it was very hard choosing these few without putting in 300 of Amee alone. The pair were married at the prestigious Ranger’s House near Greenwich, a beautiful English Heritage building which was the perfect backdrop to their Autumnal setting. Gorgeous leaves galore along with stunning Winter sunshine blessed them at the house, and I was so pleased the sun stayed with them for their London bus journey to the fabulous venue that is Trinity Buoy Wharf. WHAT a place! Amazing views and the most incredible space to make your own. Amee had worked meticulously to create a fairground Halloween theme for their day and I was delighted to see it featured in Your London Wedding magazine a couple of months ago. There was SO much attention to detail I could have blogged an entire post just on the table decorations, but as ever, for me, the story and the moments are the most important parts, so I’ve picked my best bits of the day to showcase what an absolute hoot this pair are.
All their guests were an absolute joy to work with, so much energy and laughter and not a dry eye in the house during the speeches too. I don’t normally get to see sparklers during Summer weddings but that’s the joy of darker evenings, so we had a good giggle whilst trying not to set ourselves on fire ahead of the first dance.
I want to say an absolute HUGE thanks to Amee and Dan for having me along on their special day, they treated me with such kindness from the word go and I felt honoured to be there to capture it all. Grab a cuppa and have a nosey! xxx
